Sarah Smith is a physician associate and the chief quality officer and supervisor at the Philadelphia FIGHT Community Health Center in Philadelphia, an AIDS service organization that brings primary, gynecological, and HIV care for those with HIV and those at risk of HIV. She has worked with them since 2005.

Ms. Smith received her Master of Health Sciences and Physician Associate Certification at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She currently holds multiple professional affiliations; she is a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Associates.

Throughout her career, Ms. Smith has been involved in dozens of phase 2, 3, and 4 clinical trials. She also serves as a consultant and a guest lecturer at Drexel University, University of the Sciences, and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she speaks on topics related to medical ethics, opiate use disorder, and LGBT health.
