Vitamin D During Pregnancy May Reduce Eczema in Infants

Researchers found that the infants of mothers who received vitamin D daily (1000 IU) had a lower odds ratio of atopic eczema at age 12 months. The research was part of a study in UK called the Maternal Vitamin D Osteoporosis Study (MAVIDOS).
